This is the revised goal 2026. Nobody would give me a guide to work from so this is another from scratch. Let me know of any issues.

Walkthrough

  1. From Vidblain 5, 6 type "enter moonrift" to enter Sendhian.
  2. Go to A Ship's Bow (20286) and say 'yes'
  3. Find the cook at A Flooded Deck (20292) and say 'what happened'. Ensure a panicking sailor is also in the room and again say 'what happened'.
  4. Go to A Submerged Stern (20300), ensure there's a mermaid in the room, say again 'what happened'.
  5. Go to A Submerged Stern (20296), ensue the whale is in the room and again say 'what happened'. have what it takes to dive deeper! Below the shipwreck there is a small cove and a small tribe. Find the chieftain there and learn more about them!"
  6. At Valley of The Snake (20334) 'listen chieftain' then 'sit' then 'listen chieftain' and 'nod'. Stand and go north.
  7. At A Jungle Trail (20331) and nearby, check Bwanabwana is present and say "tell me about your tribe's delicacy".
  8. Kill adult snakes until you loot a piece of snake meat. Return to Bwanabwana and give her the meat. She gives you stew. Ensure she is in the room and 'eat stew'. Use 'hunger' to check you're not at 100% full and can eat the stew.
  9. Return to the Chieftain and receive a cloth. Say 'yes'. You are teleported to a cage. Wait a few turns and you are teleported back out.
  10. Return to Alan to close the tribe task and open the Lotus Eaters task.
  11. See the linked map and use the custom exits to reach Land of The Lotus Eaters area. Wander the rooms and the maze and 'observe lotus' when there is a lotus eater in the room. After observing the various types you'll see progress messages:
    • As you observe this lotus eater, you see that they seem to be in a very peaceful state, almost as if they are blissfully unaware of their own self.
    • This lotus eater is perched on the edge of a small overlook
    • You spy one of the lotus eaters on his back. His eyes appear glazed over.
    • It appears as if he is tightly clutching what looks like a lotus flower.
    • As you observe this lotus eater, you notice something unusual. They are very frenzied in their search for the lotus flower.
    • You see that the lotus eater has noticed you, perhaps it's time to move on.
    • The raging lotus eaters seemed like they were in a frenzy for the lotus flowers. You wonder what has led them down this path.
    • The lotus eaters seem to be blissfully unaware of everything, including their own self.
    • The lotus eaters appear to keep the lotus flowers as prized possesions.
    • Some of the lotus eaters go to extremes to protect their lotus plants.
    • A lot of the older lotus eaters appear to just be sedentary, not caring much for anything going on around them.
  12. When you have observed enough lotus eaters, Sneeve Merwin appears and vanishes, leaving a progress message: "After a visit from a very familiar seeming individual, Sneeve Merwin, you feel like you know more than you'd ever thought you'd know about the lotus eaters and the lotus plant. You should share all you know with Alan!"
  13. Cast invis or quaff an invis potion to pass the Cyclops in 20350 The Hut. Go into each cell (20353, 20354) and 'rescue prisoner'. There are two; you ate the third, above. Return to Alan to close the task and open another.
  14. Enter the Caverns of The Dead and 'interrogate' several times in each room. With each the tasklist ('tasks here') is updated with ghost lines in 6 colours (blue, green, white, yellow, purple, red). Finally a ghost voice tells you to return to Alan.
  15. Alan will ask what colour each ghost used. You can see this in 'tasks here'. Say the colour, e.g 'say blue'.
  16. Go to the Sendhi Sea maze rooms and kill mobs. When the monacle drops, return to Alan. Give him the monocle.
  17. Go to the City of Apes area. Note the unmapped door west from 20432. At 20434 find the dragon.
  18. I could not get the dragon's next line to trigger even when visible, until I did the following, you may not need to: find the ape king, kill him for the broken crown, return to the dragon and give him the crown.
  19. When the dragon asks if you're there to feed him, 'say yes'. Return to the ape rooms. Turn off autosac and kill an ape. 'filet corpse' to get an ape steak. Return and give the dragon the steak. Return to Alan.
  20. Go to Throne of The Sultan (20443) and 'nod' then say 'yes'.
  21. Recall and 'runto nulan'. Go to the Nulan room On the Prairie (37932). 'open bush; get pepper from bush'.
  22. Return to the Sultan. If your cexits are properly mapped this is 'mapper goto 20443'. DO NOT 'give pepper sultan' you'll give the pepper to a servant and have to kill them to get it back. Instead 'give pepper high' to give it to the High Sultan. Return to Alan.
  23. Go to Land of the Daemon Birds, the centre room (20453). Say 'yes'.
  24. Go to Swimming Out to Sea (20468) and 'listen aelaru', go to 20465 and 'listen alinura' receive a feather. Go to Land of the Daemon Birds 20451 and 'give feather lesha'. Go to 20448 and 'listen titus'.
  25. To challenge Titus use the 'cduel' social on him: 'cduel titus'.
  26. Go to the Swimming Out to Sea rooms. In 20466 'listen ithep'. In 20464 'listen siloria'. In 20469 'cast line'.
  27. There are now options, which may have different rewards. If you have details of the other options' endings please email me.
  28. See 'tasks here' for the list of daemon birds. It's a linear area just go to each room and 'Squawk it out' (twice in the room with Antonia and Aeduello).
  29. Return to Swimming Out to Sea (20469) and say 'peace has been achieved'.

Rewards

  • At Alan say one of, 'ghosts', 'apes', 'birds' to teleport to those rooms.
  • For the Squawk it Out ending: A fun cloak with no special uses.
