Walkthrough

  • The intersection crossroads is a mini-maze. The NSEW directions rarely go NSEW respectively. Sometimes taking an exit will go where you expect, if not take the other exits until you head in the direction you want. Or stand in the crossroads and hunt the mob you're seeking.
  1. Go to Advisor's Bedroom (31861) and say 'advisor'.
  2. Go to The Warden (31867) and you'll get a task from the Taskmaster to fetch wyvern eggs.
  3. Visit Porphor's Room (shop, 31862), say three times 'wyvern eggs' then return to the taskmaster. He gives you a whip. The egg task closes and a wyvern task opens.
  4. Wield the blue steel whip. Go up to the Hatchling aerie (31868), 'beckon wyvern'. One should move into your inventory. Keep the whip equipped or wyvern will fly off.
  5. Kill larval glowworms while wielding the whip. Start at Path to the Fortress (31835) and the nearby rooms. The wyvern will consume the corpses and grow. Continue until you receive the message 'The adolescent wyvern shivers and sheds for the final time, turning into a full-grown female wyvern!' The fully grown wyvern will attack you, then you kill it to prove your authority. Receive item 'a large female wyvern'.
  6. Cast remove curse (spell #70) or 'heal curse' at a clan healer until the wyvern in inventory is uncursed. Give the wyvern item to the taskmaster.
  7. Return to the advisor who tells you they need some help in the nursery. 8 Go to the room Goblin Lurg (31855) and say 'need some relief'.
  8. Find the goblin shaman using 'where shaman' and the map. He will move each time you find him. Do this many times, until he agrees to help you. Your tasklist is updated with a new hint.
  9. Go to A collapsed section of roads (31845) and use the 'enter crack' cexit. At Before the Queen (31846) and Blood Silk (31847) kill spiders until you get a strand of blood silk. (If you get the head drop, keep it to turn in to Krelagash. See 'Portal AQ, below'.)
  10. Re-find the shaman, give the strand to him (the mobprog may take it automatically). He will give you a Scroll of Silky Slumber.
  11. Return to the matron, give her the scroll. Your tasklist is updated with a hint. Return to the advisor if you aren't teleported.
  12. Go to the Visitor's Room (31860) and say 'are you happy with your stay'.
  13. Go 2n (Prep Room, 31859) and kill until you loot 'Heartbreaker, the Holy Shield'. Return to the captain and give it to him to update the task.
  14. Return to the advisor and say 'salary on time'.
  15. Go n2wn to Visitor Room (31866) and kill the drow emissary for the emissary's badge (has a 5 day rot timer). Wear the badge. Return to the advisor.
  16. Say ‘krelagash’ (cexit from this room) to get to The King's Private Chambers. Go to the king (31883) and say 'I am the new advisor' (wearing the badge).
  17. Keep the badge worn for all remaining steps.
  18. Go to The forgotten halls (31874). Kill Lodi the huge deformed goblin. Loot Krelagash's old Longsword (invisible!). Cast remove curse or uncurse the sword at a clan healer.
  19. Return to Krelagash and give the sword to him to complete the task and end the goal.

Portal AQ

  1. Original walkthrough credits player Alerno for this knowledge.
  2. In Blood Silk (31847) kill Blood Silk the spider queen until she drops her head. (Apparently a 5% chance.)
  3. Return to Krelagash and give him the head for the area portal, Goblin Warplans.
