Walkthrough

  1. Locate the ghost of the prospector (The Widening Expanse, 4541) and say 'Yes'.

  2. Go to Entering the Canyon (4543), get pickaxe. Return and give pickaxe to ghost.

  3. Head into the Cave of the Dung Beetle (4552) and ‘hold pickaxe’ then ‘mine’.

  4. ‘Listen Beetle’.

  5. Find the medicine man (Along the Horizon, 4542) and say ‘What does the prospector truly seek?’

  6. Find Prickly Pear Cactus In Salt Flats (4546) and Examine Cactus.

  7. ‘get peyote cactus’ and ‘eat peyote’ repeatedly until the task closes.

  8. Enter the Sandy Maelstrom (4559) and search maze rooms until you find the Sandman. He spawns a bear. Kill Teddy Bear for a teddy bear souvenir.

  9. The maze is norecall, but the Aard Hotel portal works

  10. Return to Medicine man (4542) and say ‘I have faced my fears and triumphed’. Give teddy to medicine man.

  11. Go to The Widening Expanse (4550) and kill a diamondback and return to Medicine Man.

  12. Give rattles to medicine man.

  13. Say ‘macaroons are yummy’, and then ‘drop powder’.

  14. Say ‘follow me’ (If you lose the Wife’s ghost, return and give the diamondback rattles to the medicine man again).

  15. Return to Prospector and Say I have found your wife.
