Walkthrough¶

1. Locate the Balrog's Adept (A turn in the road, 6088) and say 'Yes' to open the goal.

2. Locate Fartho the Mage (“A tall, black man”, A cavern, 6124) and say 'I am here to claim the Balrog's Power.'.

3. Locate and kill the soul of Sein (The office, 6094) for 'an old scroll'.

4. Return and give scroll Fartho.

5. Go to 'Dragon Cave General Store' (6161) and buy a Dragon Wand.

6. Kill The soul of a horse (One of the pens, 6113) to get a horseshoe, but the item has a timer of 5:30 mins.

7. Kill the ghost (Tack room, 6114), and loot for a strange potion.

8. Return to Fartho (6124) and by mobprog you’ll give wand, horseshoe, and potion to him.

9. Return to 'Dragon Cave General Store' (6161) and buy a Dragon's Potion. If one of the items in steps below times out, for example if you are away from the game a few days, you can re-do from this step. This is a bugfix.

10. Return to Fartho and ‘give dragon Fartho’ to receive a vial of TrueSilver.

11. Go to Dracos’ chamber (6160), give vial of Truesilver to Dracos (‘give true dracos’), and wait for the mprog to finish and get Adept's note.

12. Return to the Balrog's Adept and give note to Adept.

13. Return to and kill Dracos (immune to fire).

14. Return to Balrog's Adept, say 'Dracos is dead.', and give vial of TrueSilver to Adept.

15. You need to be good aligned, locate soul of Hans (A bedroom, 6100), and say 'Sword' to receive the TrueSilver sword.

16. Give Truesilver sword to Balrog's Adept, receive it back with 'a chunk of silver rock', which is key to the Balrog's volcano section. (The door also opens with the Passdoor wish.) Wield the TrueSilver Sword.

17. While wielding the sword, kill the Balrog in The Silver Cave (6128), and loot the corpse for 'Whip of the Balrog'.

18. Return to the Balrog's Adept and give him the whip to complete the goal.
